SERVING MANKIND

Humanity First is delivering vital support in Gaza

The war in Gaza is having a catastrophic humanitarian impact on the population.

Essentials such as food, water, medicine, hygiene, and shelter are in short supply.

The United Nations reports that since 7 October, up to 1.9 million people (or over 85 per cent of the population) have been displaced across the Gaza Strip, some multiple times. Families are forced to move repeatedly in search of safety.

Humanity First is delivering vital aid such as blankets, jackets, water, rice, flour, beans, sugar, and non-perishable food items, as well as working with our partners ANERA and MAP to provide medical supplies.

REAL STORIES

Mashood Jawo

Local Village Youth Leader

“This medical camp has been useful for our community because we have been staying here for over 5, 6, 7, 8 years almost, without seeing a doctor or any specialist who can diagnose our diseases that we have been suffering from out here.”

Lamin Jai

IT Lecturer

“I was trained here in Humanity First in early 2004 and then subsequently become a staff of the institution to impart what I gained from here to the students. …definitely it’s changing my life, seriously.”

Running a session on safety for Gazans uprooted from their homes, a disheartening, but all too common sight was before our eyes. A 2-year-old toddler, Amal, with small eyes flickering between those around her, remained restless.
