Our Work In Gaza.

Gaza continues to face a severe humanitarian crisis, with families living under constant threat and extreme deprivation. The ongoing conflict has disrupted essential services, restricted access to vital supplies, and left communities dependent on external aid for survival. Even in periods of fragile ceasefire, movement restrictions and security risks create significant challenges for humanitarian organisations trying to reach those in need.

Humanity First UK operates a fully independent team on the ground in Gaza, allowing us to respond quickly and directly to the needs of affected communities. Our local presence ensures that assistance can reach families safely and efficiently, even when access for international aid is limited or delayed. Through careful coordination and a deep understanding of local conditions, we are able to maintain consistent support in a context where uncertainty, displacement, and scarcity are daily realities.

Our commitment goes beyond emergency relief. We strive to support resilience and dignity for families enduring the crisis, working closely with local partners and communities to understand evolving needs and deliver timely humanitarian assistance. In a region where conditions can change rapidly, our independent teams remain on the frontlines, ensuring that help reaches those who need it most.

Gaza Water Trucking October 2025

Return of Education in Gaza

Children in Gaza are returning to learning after two years of disruption caused by conflict and displacement. Humanity First UK supports education through Temporary Learning Spaces that provide safety, stability, and renewed opportunities for young learners. This video shows the first steps back into the classroom.

Our Key Projects in Gaza

Our teams in Gaza continue to deliver essential relief through the following ongoing projects.

Water Trucking

Humanity First delivers clean drinking water through a continuous water trucking operation. Our team reaches communities where infrastructure is damaged or supplies are limited. Working within the WASH Cluster, we ensure that families receive safe water consistently in areas facing severe shortages.

Smiles for Gaza

Providing psychosocial support for children affected by conflict and displacement. The programme offers safe spaces, structured activities, and emotional support to help children regain stability and confidence during prolonged periods of stress.

Food Parcels

Providing essential food parcels and meals for families experiencing food insecurity. Our teams work within the Food Security Cluster to reach vulnerable households, ensuring access to basic nutrition when markets are disrupted and supplies are unstable.

Disaster Tent Distribution

Humanity First provides UN spec family and multipurpose tents to support displaced communities who have lost their homes. These shelters offer immediate protection in severe conditions. Coordination with the Shelter Cluster ensures that tents reach priority areas and meet the most urgent shelter needs.

Risk Reduction Programmes

Our disaster risk reduction work supports communities in improving preparedness and safety. Sessions focus on awareness, practical measures, and local resilience. This helps families protect themselves and respond more effectively to risks in a challenging and unpredictable environment.

Education Support

Humanity First UK delivers education support through Temporary Learning Spaces and community based activities. These spaces allow children to continue their learning in safe and stable environments when schools are damaged or inaccessible. The programme helps restore routine and supports long term development.
