Devastating Floods Hit Uganda

Home / Africa / Devastating Floods Hit Uganda

For the region of Bududa District, Eastern Uganda, October brought with it devastation in the form of flooding and landslides. With persistent and heavy rainfall in the area, many families have been affected by this chaotic weather. The Director of Disaster Relief for Humanity First joined our team in Uganda to help with the donation and distribution of water survival boxes to families that have suffered the most due to these floods. A huge thank you to Red Cross Uganda who worked in partnership with World Water Works to donate 98 boxes, and our friend Hugo Slim, who made this all possible.
